Our Story

Kenny and Lamya's paths first crossed at their mutual friend Jeremy's birthday celebration at Worlds of Fun. As the only two singles among their friends, fate, or perhaps just the seating arrangements, led them to be partners on the various thrill rides. Lamya found Kenny quite cute and was secretly happy about this turn of events, though she worried about appearing too enthusiastic. On the Patriot roller coaster, she subtly attempted to put some distance between them, but circumstances kept them side-by-side. Apologizing for their repeated proximity, Lamya hoped she had managed to maintain a casual demeanor.

About a week later, their connection extended to the digital realm as they began following each other on Instagram. When Kenny liked one of Lamya's photos, she decided to send him a direct message. Time passed, and eventually, Kenny and Lamya went on their first official date. By this time, a mutual fondness had blossomed.

During their date, Lamya, seeking to spark conversation, brought up their initial meeting at Worlds of Fun and the ride on the Patriot. Kenny confessed that he had actually been pleased to sit next to her. He admitted to being a little disappointed by her apology, as he had already thought she was really cool and was hoping for the chance to get to know her better. They both found the situation amusing and were delighted to learn that their interest in each other had been mutual from the start.

Now that its been a few years, the two of them have found their ground. Taking trips, going on walks with their dogs, and indulging in good food are just some of the things these two enjoy doing with each other.
